AC Milan have failed to score in three of their last four games and they need answers from their attack tonight in the game against Lazio.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) talks about the mixed injury news heading into next season because of Ismael Bennacer’s injury but on the other hand the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic who will be on the bench against Lazio. Zlatan hasn’t scored since 9 January away at Venezia and the Olimpico is a ground he likes scoring at.
The Swede has already scored a goal against Lazio this season, closing the reverse fixture at San Siro in the 67th minute with a tap-in from Ante Rebic’s assist, and the hope is that he can enter into a game that Olivier Giroud and Rafael Leao have already had their say in.
Milan need the Giroud and Leao against Lazio because the Frenchman has not scored since March 6 against Napoli and the Portuguese winger is the only one capable of illuminating Milan with his amazing dribbling, and he is the top scorer.
There are only five games to go until the end of this seasons but if the Rossoneri attack fails to unlock, the end could come early. Inter’s win over Roma means that three points against the Biancocelesti is a necessity.
Pls play Rebic as centre forward
