Goal: Milan and Real Madrid in talks over playmaker – loan plus €30m option with buy-back possible

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Real Madrid are locked in showdown talks over the future of Brahim Diaz and things seem to be moving alone well, a report claims.

Goal Espana (via MilanNews) writes how one of the priorities of the Rossoneri management in the upcoming mercato is to secure the return of Brahim Diaz from Los Blancos, a player who became a protagonist of the Rossoneri’s return to the Champions League and one who is highly esteemed by Pioli and his staff.

However, there is a slight issue arising from the fact that Real Madrid are also appreciative of his exploits as well as Milan, because the Spanish side judge his growth in Milan as very positive. The two clubs are nonetheless negotiating for the 21-year-old return to Italy but are still studying the formula.

That is because the Bernabeu side do not want to lose control over the player ideally and in this sense an agreement could be based either on a new loan or on a sale for €30m with a buy-back clause.
