Gustavo Gomez is on his way out of Milan. The Paraguayan defender passed his medical checkups with Brazilian club Palmeiras today ahead of his move to the club.
According to Sky Italia, Gomez will join Palmeiras on loan. Milan will receive €1.5 million as a loan fee, with the Brazilians having an obligation to buy the player in case he plays at least 50% of his matches for the club.
Gomez joined Milan two years ago for a fee of around €8 million and never really managed to make an impression. During his spell he featured in only 18 Serie A games for the Rossoneri and will look to restart his career back in South America
