AC Milan director Igli Tare is continuing to work on signing a striker, and there was a meeting involving Rasmus Hojlund on Tuesday.
As Calciomercato.com report, Massimiliano Allegri’s side are desperately in need of another centre-forward given that both Luka Jovic and Tammy Abraham left at the end of last season, while Francesco Camarda was loaned out.

Dusan Vlahovic’s candidacy seems to be fading, with Hojlund currently the hottest prospect. The former Atalanta player has a more affordable salary at €4m net per year, compared to the €12m earned by the Serbian at Juventus.
The next steps
It’s worth remembering that Milan have already had discussions with the Red Devils and have even reached a draft agreement on the deal’s formula and figures. It’s would be a loan deal worth €6m, with an option to buy set at around €40-45m.
However, the player’s approval is still missing, much to the annoyance of Arrigo Sacchi. A meeting took place today between Hojlund and United’s management, in which the Red Devils reiterated their stance that he should find a new club.
Rasmus, however, isn’t yet 100% convinced about leaving, especially since he’s a huge Manchester United fan . The situation needs to be monitored and Milan could turn to other targets if the green light doesn’t come, such as Vlahovic or PSG’s Goncalo Ramos.

I am so grateful for his coldness
same; Milan need a striker who can drop deep and do hold-up play. There is some unknown players who can do that.
me three…
Disagree. We need exactly the opposite. We need a target man type who lives in the box, can dominate in the air and can finish. I’m not saying that’s what Hojlund is, but that is what we need, not another one of these strikers that wanders around pretending to be an attacking midfielder and has never scored a headed goal in their career.
I can see your point, Gimenez isnt the most physically dominate striker you can have but he is a poucher and he is left footed. In 6 months the man has scored goals in the league.
I think getting another poucher who is going to score headers demands crosses and I promise you this team isnt going to make a lot of good crosses unfortunately.
There are guys who can drop deep and carry the ball. I have three names in mind but the club hasn’t talked about them.
Kaio Jorge – he was at Juventus and then got a bad injury. He is back in Brazil and he looks really good 13 goals and 5 assists
Vangelis Pavlidis – the club was linked with him when they got Tiji, but he ended up at Benfica. They just bought another CF who is also really good this season. So he is probably available
Kool Muani – He is available and Juventus want him but their hands are tied because of Vlahovic. He is available on a loan.
I would go for Kaio or Muani.
Who says Kaio Jorge is for sale?
If that’s what the needed than Morata was the guy. Thats his game through and through. Milan need a target or a forward that can act as a reference for the attack. I’d like someone tall who can dominate in the air and think that would compliment Gimenez
Ramos would be best
I almost thought we should have kept Abraham, but perhaps it was better just to find someone new entirely.
Perhaps this is better because we need more than a poacher who isn’t arguably all that great at his one task.
Nobody is talking about Moise Kean or may be they shouldn’t have allowed Tammy Abraham leave. Now they are on the fence because they are not willing to spend big.
Keane is like 50-60 mil now, to late. Maybe only Vlahovic is left if he takes a pay cut.
I agree; I thought Tammy Abraham did a good job – big physical presence, plenty of skill. They should at least have kept him as a backup.
Tammy was on a higher salary than anyone in the team, now he’s still on a similar salary in Turkiye. He wasn’t coming here.
But if Ramos is an option, that would be a much more exciting prospect to me than Hojlund. I doubt PSG will let him go though.
we should have kept Jovic.
I agree, we should have kept both Jovic and Camarda instead of hunting these guys who are not interested
Jovic has been as “prolific” as Hojlund has over the past few seasons. We don’t need either. And he’s almost 30 anyway, this isn’t a charity. Who we should’ve gotten was Lorenzo Lucca.
Goncalo Ramos is an interesting name. But how much are PSG willing to part with him with? Didn’t they pay 65 million for him?
Why did they let Jovic leave tho?
Because he’s not that good
Still better than nothing
Vlahovic is better 4 times then Hojlund, but i not understand did we have Gimenez 1st our attacker or second? If true Tare want this Hojlund( not attacker je is clown) or Vlahovic, then Gimenez will be 2nd choice 😂
Laipzig bring from Shaktor new Sesko, and our owners cant bring some new player here.
Emanuel Emegha bring him here for only 25m. Guy is great.
Yeah we wonder why are Emegha and Tolu arokodare not closed in any mercato. We should get ’em if they’re affordable or have good bargain.
Mitrovic?
Maybe too expensive as al hilal don’t want to let their best striker go.
