Repubblica: How much Milan are expected to make from ticket sales in 2022-23

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are on track to record huge revenues from ticket sales this season after a difficult period during the Covid lockdown and subsequent restrictions, a report claims.

According to today’s edition of La Repubblica (via, the projections at present for box office revenues this season suggest that Milan should earn €83.7m, and that is without the possibility of a home semi-final in the Champions League.

In addition to almost every game having over 70,000 fans present to cheer on the Rossoneri, the home match against Tottenham was the highest collection ever in the history of Italian football as the club got over €9m.

That is a figure which should be repeated for the home quarter-final – with the draw to come in Nyon this Friday – and thus allows the paper to make a projection on what the total should be for the season. Over €83m is a high figure, but with a new stadium it could be even more.
