Widespread reports are suggesting that Igli Tare could soon become AC Milan’s next sporting director, and that allows some predictions on the future.
Sky, Gianluca Di Marzio and La Gazzetta dello Sport all spoke of a four-hour meeting between CEO Giorgio Furlani and Tare yesterday regarding the vacant position at Milan. Corriere della Sera, among others, are reporting that Massimiliano Allegri is in pole position to become the next coach.
TeleLombardia meanwhile have gone one further, putting together a graphic of ‘Tare and Allegri’s Milan’ which is in essence their projection of how the Rossoneri might look heading into the 2025-26 season.

Riccardo Orsoli and Lorenzo Lucca could join the attack to be the deputy right winger and centre-forward respectively. So, there are six new signings named, plus the potential return of Saelemaekers from Roma.

if there is a permanent switch to a back three, then Tare will need to bring in at least two more CB’s comfortable playing in that system. And you have to figure out what to do with Tomori.
The names I wouldn’t worry about as first they need to figure out the system and who stays, who goes.
