MN: A humble talent hoping to be Milan’s Mozart – positive reports emerge on Adli’s adaptation

By Oliver Fisher -

Yacine Adli has certainly been one of the revelations of AC Milan’s preseason so far, and there are nothing but positive reports emerging regarding him.

MilanNews recall how – during his first press conference – Adli confessed his love for the piano and in particular for Mozart. He has found adapting to his new life at Milan a bit easier thanks to the many French-speaking players present, and it has certainly showed on the pitch.

A confident and enterprising Adli appeared in the games against Lemine Almenno, FC Köln, ZTE and especially against Wolfsberger. He looked at ease with the ball at his feet and with his new team-mates, showing intelligent movement to attack in behind, drop into midfield and enter the box, with an assist for Ante Rebic and a goal of his own a fair reward in the game in Austria yesterday.

The report adds that the reports from Milanello are all positive: they say that he is not only a very promising player but is also polite, willing to listen, humble and with a great desire to work and adapt to a big club like the Rossoneri.

The Rossoneri will fly to France to face Marseille this weekend and Adli will therefore be able to compete against a real opponent, just before the start of the Serie A season, hoping to stake a claim for a starting spot.

  1. He looks very promising with his technique, movement, passing ability and vision but he needs to put on some muscle and get stronger because I noticed he gets pushed off rather easily of the ball. He has the frame, he just needs to beef up a little bit

    1. You sure you’re speaking about adli? This guy hardly gets pushed off the ball.. I think this comment was meant for brahim diaz.. lol.. please watch over the games and see that unless it’s a harsh tackle that he does go to ground easily

  2. Calm, collective, polite, humble, creative plays, elegant passing and great work ethic…. anyone else seeing a Pirlo-esque similarity

  3. We all know he can flat out play…..Let’s hope he can stay healthy as he is into a different environment than Ligue 1.
    Forza!!

  4. Another solid recruitment by Maldini, Masara, and Moncada. But the crazy thing is some people in here called Maldini stupid 🤦‍♂️

  5. i forsighted that he will be “pirlo-esque” when he was signed last season. i would be happy if he proves me right, he certainly looks on the right path.
