MN: Ibrahimovic ready to charge Milan up once again ahead of an important 2023

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is hoping to be an added weapon for AC Milan in the second part of the season when he finally returns from injury.

MilanNews recall the words of Ibrahimovic back in May after the Scudetto win: “I kept my promise, I promised everyone that we would win. Someone didn’t believe it and someone laughed, today we are Italian champions.”

Zlatan’s second journey with Milan began after the humiliation of a 5-0 defeat against Atalanta in Bergamo, one that forced the club to take drastic action to increase the leadership in the group, with the Swede taking a young group by the hand.

Under head coach Stefano Pioli the striker led Milan back to being part of the Champions League and then of course last season’s Scudetto win, but he does not want the story to end there.

In a few days on January 4th, the most important part of a season will begin. In 2023 Milan will play a lot of games, starting with the goal of overturning Napoli’s advantage in the table with the Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana and Champions League knockouts also to come.

The hope is to see Ibrahimovic at full capacity again as soon as possible, because with Zlatan the charge in the environment during the week is totally different, with infinite more stimuli for his team-mates.
