Tuttosport: Ibrahimovic has clear thoughts regarding his future but waits for signs

By Oliver Fisher -

Sweden will not be at the 2022 World Cup later this year but that does not mean retirement is nailed on for Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a report claims.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the final word on Zlatan’s career as a player has not yet been written it will be up to him to decide how it ends. The one thing that scares him at the moment is the prospect of retiring because it gives him a lot of adrenaline in his life.

The paper claims that Ibrahimovic seems to want to move forward so now a renewal with a reduced salary seems to be a likely solution. He will decide based on the signals that his body gives him between now and June, which will be crucial to understand what contribution he can make.

Zlatan wants to feel important for the team on the field and not just in the dressing room where he is a leader. Simply put, he wants to be useful to the cause in every sense so now he wants to fine tune himself for the Scudetto sprint, hoping to raise a trophy with his Milan and then evaluations on the future will come.

  1. This ol’ man still has fight in him, ride him and Giroud to the Scudetto finish line, something tells me he is going to be a hero when we really need a miracle, it is in his genetics.
