Ibrahimovic says he will come back ‘with violence’ and ‘won’t give up’

AC Milan forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has said that he will come back from his injury ‘with violence’ and he will not be giving up on his playing ambitions.

Speaking during an interview with French TV channel CANAL+ (via 90min), the Swedish made no bones about his return from injury which is suspected to happen in the early part of 2023.

He has been out for the entirety of the season so far and much of the previous season with a knee issue that then required surgery. He has been working hard to get fit again and is now on the home straight.

Not one to ever hold his tongue and understate things, Ibrahimovic explained that he will be making a serious impact when he takes the field again in 2023.

“When I come back, I will be heard, you can count on it. I will do it with violence. I’m not going to retire, I’m coming back and I won’t give up.”

He also made a bold claim about the quality of other strikers, saying he has not seen anyone stronger than him yet.

“If I see a player stronger than me, I’ll stop. But I haven’t seen him yet.”

  1. Lol. I absolutely love Ibra, defiantly confident as ever. Hopefully he can give just a handful of good games and goals this season

  2. How about you focus on your recovery and let those who can play do their part… a live dog is still better than a dead lion! At this current point, even Messias Jr has better Serie A stats for Milan than Ibrahimovic. In fact, Milan won Scudetto after Messias Jr. joined if you look at it that way.
