MN: Ibrahimovic makes public declaration to clear uncertainty over his future

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic seems unwilling to call time on his career before he wins a trophy with AC Milan, according to a report.

MilanNews writes how his future was unclear until a few days ago, but it was made a little clearer by what happened yesterday on the fields of Milanello and at the conference room of the Milan Triennale.

The Swede did part of yesterday’s training session with the squad for the first time since the injury he suffered against Juventus last month, warming up with the rest of the team before he continued with the usual personalised work on the field. His presence remains impossible for the derby tomorrow, but he could be back for the game against Napoli on Sunday.

News is expected in the next few days regarding his future, as he declared during an event yesterday: “I want to be there and help the team. Since I got here we are doing great things and now there is only one thing missing: winning trophies. We are fighting and we are working for this, I don’t give up until I win with this team.”

In short, Ibra does not intend to retire just yet and he wants to return as soon as possible to chase the Scudetto with Milan.
