Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a caged lion and is desperate to return to help AC Milan in their hunt for the Scudetto, and he might be on the bench against Napoli.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the Achilles tendon inflammation that he sustained during the draw against Juventus back in January has been tormenting him for over a month now and is forcing him to miss several games, and while he did not train with the rest of the squad yesterday he will try to be at least on the bench on Sunday in the big match against Napoli.
The 40-year-old harbours some hope of being in the squad for the trip to the Stadio Diego Maradona and if he were able to work with the team today and tomorrow, then he may be deemed well enough to come off the bench and provide a boost for his team.
Stefano Pioli hopes obviously wants another leader back in the fold, but he knows very well that the chances of having Ibrahimovic available are slim, even if the Swede is working intensely at Milanello to try and final come back.
