Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s presence on the AC Milan bench on Friday night was a key part of the Rossoneri getting their second victory of 2023, a report claims.
As has been claimed in a report from Tuttosport (via Milan News), the Swedish striker was on the bench for the first time this season after knee surgery and he appeared like an assistant manager.
He raised the volume levels of the crowd inside San Siro before the match and they were clearly enthused by him being back in the frame.
Whilst he was not introduced from the bench, he was vocal throughout the game and many feel this was a factor in the 1-0 victory over the Granata.
The goal came from fellow striker Olivier Giroud in the second half and Ibrahimovic was visibly angry when Theo Hernandez missed a chance to make it 2-0 late in the game. That goal could have allowed Stefano Pioli to bring Ibrahimovic on.
Send Poli into a 2 weeks isolation to reflect on what he did.
Poli couldn’t put together a strong team because he practiced favoritism. All the newcomers couldn’t find any rhythm or confidence as he simply wants to play his pets and there is no variation in his strategy. Give Ibra a chance to be deputy coach for 2-3 matches starting from the game with Spurs. Perhaps suddenly all the newcomers performance will be unlocked
Can anyone please tell me why Adli is always on the bench? What wrong has he done?
Pioli told him to get a haircut but he refused. You won’t find a more logical answer than this bro.
😀 😀 😀
I went to become a Ac Milan player
And Pioli did not put Ibra on CL list. So, no Ibra even on a Bench I Champions😡. How could Pioli be so stupid and arrogant⁉️ Ibra is main reason why Milan is in Champions two years in a row after almost decade. But for Pioli Mesias is more important😡
there were reports that they both decided and agreed to leave him out of champions league, but reasons were not stated for the decision
I went to become a Barcelona player
Ibra on the bench is more important than any of Milan’s players on the field.
