AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic provided a typically humorous response to news that he has tested positive for Coronavirus.
Milan confirmed on Thursday that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has tested positive for Coronavirus and will not be able to play against Bodo/Glimt.
That news, plus the fact Rafael Leao is not yet fit after returning from Coronavirus himself and the fact Ante Rebic is suspended, means Stefano Pioli is stretched in terms of his attacking options for the game against the Norwegian league leaders.
Ibrahimovic took to Twitter to react to the news, tweeting the following:
“I tested negative to Covid yesterday and positive today. No symptoms what so ever. Covid had the courage to challenge me. Bad idea.”
In order to return to being available to Pioli, Ibra will have to have two consecutive negative tests. It is difficult to say precisely when the number 11 will be able to finish the quarantine: for Rafael Leao for example it seemed to take a while, but other players have returned quicker.
