Tuttosport: Ibrahimovic sees unfinished business – the latest on rehabilitation and renewal

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has made it clear that he does not consider his playing career to be over and wishes to continue after his injury, a report claims.

As reported this morning by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), almost a month after the second major knee operation he has undergo on his career, the rehabilitation work of Ibrahimovic is proceeding quickly. The Swede is doing gym, swimming pool and physiotherapy to strengthen his knee and his appetite for playing has not waned despite the Scudetto win.

Ibra is already looking ahead to January when – according to the rehabilitation schedule – he could return to the field. However, the paper claims that he could report to Milanello on 4 July to be there for the beginning of preseason with his team-mates.

The renewal of Zlatan’s contract should not be a big problem and he is expected to meet with the management to define the terms of an annual renewal with low fixed salary and bonuses related to team appearances, goals and other targets.

Ibrahimovic knows he is an important piece of this Milan not only on the pitch (where he scored 8 goals and provided 3 assists) but also off it, given he is a leader of the dressing room.
