Il Mattino: Sarri to meet with Spurs and Arsenal but Milan idea cannot be excluded

By Oliver Fisher -

The idea of Maurizio Sarri ending up as AC Milan’s head coach for next season cannot be ruled out, according to a report.

Today’s edition of the newspaper Il Mattino (via MilanNews) reports that the idea of Sarri returning to Napoli is virtually impossible because of the conditions that he would demand to return, which includes having a say in transfers alongside sporting director Giuntoli, as well as to him, a hypothesis that De Laurentiis would never accept.

His agent Fali Ramadani is set to meet with Tottenham and Arsenal to discuss a return to London for the ex-Chelsea boss, but the paper states to beware of Milan, who could be under the radar in the coming weeks.

La Gazzetta dello Sport wrote last night that Sarri was ready to take the Roma job as he considered them the perfect team for the basis of his football ideas, but then they hired Mourinho, and the idea of him joining Milan before the new season cannot be ruled out.
