Indian cricket star Jasprit Bumrah has named AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic as his idol over captain Virat Kohli.
Ibrahimovic officially secured his return to the Rossoneri back in January eight years after he initially swapped the San Siro for the Parc des Princes, joining Paris Saint-Germain.
His impact at 38 years of age has been nothing short of astounding, as the Swede continues to compete at the highest level of football having only missed two games since returning.
It has been an illustrious career for Ibrahimovic which has seen him represent the likes of Malmo FF, Ajax, Juventus, Barcelona, Inter, PSG, Manchester United and LA Galaxy.
Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was asked to choose between the fitness regime of his captain Virat Kohli and that of Ibrahimovic by Yuvraj Singh.
As per the crickettimes, Singh asked: “Your fitness idol, is it Virat Kohli or Zlatan Ibrahimovic?”
Bumrah’s response was concrete: “Ibrahimovic as an idol in general.”
Earlier, he had spoken with IPL side Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma about how he is inspired by Zlatan, who worked his way up from an underprivileged background to reach the top of his sport.
