AC Milan attacker Alexis Saelemaekers has returned to full training with the rest of the Rossoneri squad having missed out on the 2022 Qatar World Cup, a report claims.
As has been reported by Sky Sport Italia (via Calciomercato.com), the Belgian winger is recovering well from the injury that he suffered earlier in the campaign and he was present in training at Milanello on Wednesday morning.
He has been suffering from a knee injury and whilst for a short time it seemed that he may recover in time to make the Belgium squad for the World Cup. That was not the case and the Red Devils were knocked out of the tournament in the group stage.
He has not played for Milan since the end of October but now it seems that he will be back in contention to start for Milan when Serie A resumes on January 4. He still underwent a specialised program in training.
