Intermediary confirms Milan’s interest in Red Star Belgrade playmaker compared to Shaqiri

AC Milan’s interest in Red Star Belgrade playmaker Andrija Radulovic has seemingly been confirmed by an intermediary.

Il Corriere dello Sport journalist Fabio Massimo Splendore told Calciomercato.it back in June that the Serbian talent is attracting interest from Schalke 04 and Valencia in addition to the two Milan clubs.

The 18-year-old was observed by Milan scouts in a cup final between Partizan and Red Star, but Inter have also entered the race as Dejan Stankovic is the coach of Red Star and the Nerazzurri apparently reached out to him regarding the attacking midfielder.

The report added how Radulovic has a Serbian agent, but in Europe the team of Federico Pastorello are on the case and could act as intermediaries.

Andrea Luciani – a collaborator of the well-known agent Federico Pastorella – spoke to Calciomercato.it about the player and seemingly confirmed that Milan have been monitoring him.

“Radulovic is a left-footed attacking midfielder. The agency took him through Dusan Basta, the former Lazio and Udinese footballer. The boy showed off in the Youth League, scoring goals against Tottenham,” he said.

“Some time ago there was also the news that Milan were following him. For now, however, he must remain with his feet on the ground, because he still alternates between the first team and the youth team.

“Last summer Schalke and Valencia asked for information. He makes me think of Berardi, Politano, Shaqiri.”

The 18-year-old has played just 82 minutes in four league appearances so far this season, but has seemingly shown enough in the Youth League to attract interest.
