Jacobone: Theo prefers Real Madrid and Man City over Bayern but wants Milan stay

By Ben Dixon -

Interest in Theo Hernandez will always be high, given the quality of player, and person, that he is. AC Milan are aware of this and have placed a high valuation on him, in the hopes it will deter clubs from attempting to sign him.

This summer is set to be an exciting one for Milan, with the management ‘determined’ to be active in the mercato, which will hopefully exceed the markings of last summer, especially given the planned areas of investment.

However, it also has the potential to be a very nervy window, given several of the Rossoneri’s key players are being touted for moves across Europe, and a player at the heart of a saga is Theo Hernandez.

The Frenchman is often pivotal in both phases of play for Milan, and several clubs are aware of this, so are trying to pursue a move for him this summer, considering his contract expires in 2026. As reported by Alessandro Jacobone (via Milan Zone on X), Bayern’s reported interest is concrete, and they would be open to matching the €100 million valuation if Alphonso Davies departs.

However, there are three clubs that the defender would rather play for, those being Real Madrid and Manchester City. Finally, Milan. The report suggests that he and his family have no intention of leaving Milano unless an irrefutable offer came in.
