AC Milan have been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid playmaker Joao Felix in recent days but it appears to be a difficult pursuit, a report claims.
Interestingly, Rafael Leao recently retweeted a tweet from a user showing a photoshop with Joao Felix wearing the Rossoneri shirt. The two are very good friends and it cannot be ruled out that having someone like Leao at Milan could help a potential pursuit, PianetaMilan report.
They add that Milan’s objective is to go further in the Champions League next season after this year’s group stage exit but but to do this, it will be necessary to further raise the quality of the squad available to Stefano Pioli.
From this point of view, Brahim Diaz has not lively up to expectations and that is why the name of Felix has re-emerged for the No.10 role. The figure of €70m that Atletico Madrid want seems out of reach at the moment for Milan and while a sale to Investcorp or RedBird could change things, there is still the need to monitor the FFP situation.

If Juventus can sign players on 2 year loans with obligations to buy I don’t see why couldn’t Milan. We can’t get a better player for that position but Dybala is free and probably wants a smaller wage from what I read.
Joao Felix not a bad player but Dybala is a better player for me. Knows serie A well and more experienced.

I agree with you guys here that Dybala is a better option that Felix. He is a very talented young player for sure; but we need someone more consistent and a little more experience and versatility like Dybala who can play CAM, RW and striker… and someone who knows Serie A … and I think very importantly, taking away a great player from Juventus and preventing our city rivals Inter from signing him. We must help ourselves and at the same time hurt our 2 biggest Scudetto rivals.
