Napoli are serious about landing AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie during the upcoming transfer window, according to a report.
Despite the fact that he has held a starting spot alongside Ismael Bennacer fairly consistently over the last few months, doubts remain about whether Kessie will stay with the Rossoneri beyond the summer.
A report emerged earlier this week claiming that Arsenal are keen on the former Atalanta powerhouse and are ready to pay €20million to land him.
Now, Radio Rossonera’s Pietro Balzano Prota – during a Twitch stream – has revealed more information about the situation surrounding the Ivorian.
As per @SightsMilan, the journalist confirmed that Napoli are indeed interested in signing Kessie this summer, in particular their head coach Gennaro Gattuso who of course worked with him at Milan last season.
However, the Partenopei must first of all resolve the situation regarding their own defensive midfielder in Allan who continues to be linked with a move away. It is only then that they will understand the moves that need making.
On Kessie: Franck Kessie attracts the interest of Rino Gattuso who is convinced that he can make Kessie play at 100% in Napoli. However, Napoli must solve the Allan situation first.
On Youth Promotions: One of Pobega and Brescianini will remain in the first squad.
