Journalist confirms Olmo was left out of friendly as rumours of €30m Milan move grow

By Oliver Fisher -

Dinamo Zagreb star Dani Olmo played no part in his side’s friendly match against Lokomotiv Zagreb on Friday, it is claimed.

Croatian source Sportske Novosti have been the outlet that have reported the most concrete interest from the Rossoneri in acquiring the Spain international.

After reports of an approach and the player’s willingness to join Milan they offered an update on Friday, revealing Milan have made a bid of €20m plus bonuses with a five-year contract offer on the table to try and land Olmo.

SportMediaset then claimed Boban is intensifying contacts with Dinamo Zagreb to try and win the race for the wide man.

Radio Rossonera claimed on Thursday night that Dinamo sporting director Mamic had told Olmo he would not be used in the friendly against Lokomotiv.

Now, journalist Ale Nizergorodcew tweeted to confirm that Olmo would not take part in the game, with the following statement: “Olmo is not called up for a friendly because he may change teams in the summer. Yes.”
