Agent Mino Raiola is worried about his client Gianluigi Donnarumma and his intention to stay at AC Milan for his entire career, it is claimed.
Donnarumma’s current contract is set to expire in June 2021 meaning Milan must try and resolve his renewal soon, and while clubs are likely queuing up to try and snatch him – with Raiola smelling a big commission – the 21-year-old wants to stay at Milan.
According to journalist Paolò Condò (via MilanReports), Raiola is in trouble because his client Donnarumma wants to stay with Milan for life, which is not good news for a football agent as they make their money when players swap clubs.
Condo goes on to add that Gigio always tells his agent: “Get everything you can get, taking into account that I want to play for Milan.”
It is of course music to the ears of the Milan management, but it does present a question about whether Raiola will one day become frustrated with the stance.
