Torino coach Ivan Juric has said that he appreciates AC Milan manager Stefano Pioli and believes that he has become a great coach.
Speaking during his press conference on Saturday ahead of Sunday’s clash with the Rossoneri (via Milan News), the Croatian coach showed that he rates Pioli very highly after the Italian delivered the Scudetto for the Diavolo last season.
“I appreciate him, I have followed him a lot in the past. He has so much empathy with the players and creates so many solutions, he’s become a great coach: he varies a lot, he has knowledge and I like him a lot.”
He also focused on how Pioli is able to get the best out of the midfielders that he has at his disposal, referencing Bennacer’s role against Chelsea recently.
“At AC Milan you can see how he gets into the midfielders’ heads, Bennacer for example against Chelsea was marking Sterling.”
Milan come into the game against Torino at the Stadio Olimpico knowing that they are one win away from making it five league victories in a row. Napoli have won again this weekend which means that a win will be vital to keep pace with Luciano Spalletti’s side.
The Rossoneri will still have an eye on the match in midweek against RB Salzburg which is crucial for Champions League progression.
