GdS: Juventus plan to poach Massara from Milan for sporting director role

By Euan Burns -

Juventus have got their eyes on AC Milan sporting director Frederic Massara as the Bianconeri need a new executive in that role for next season, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Milan News), Milan are going to have to rely on Massara’s commitment to the project as Juventus could soon make him an offer.

There has been plenty of change upstairs after the 15-point penalty was handed down earlier this season for capital gains fraud.

The main candidate as far as Juventus are concerned to take the job is Massara who has worked with Francesco Calvo, Juve’s chief football officer, at AS Roma before.

He has also known Juve coach Massimiliano Allegri all of his life with the pair playing together at Pescara many years ago.

One of their other options is to bring Pablo Longoria back to the club who is currently in a role at French side Marseille.
