AC Milan received the disappointing news yesterday that Pierre Kalulu has sustained a calf problem and is expected to miss at least a couple of weeks.
As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports this morning, the calf issue he suffered with France’s U21 national team will certainly keep him out on Sunday in the league match against Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
However, he is also expected to be absent in the subsequent matches against Empoli, Napoli (Champions League quarter-final first leg) and Bologna, and he will not be rushed back given how delicate calf problems can be – just ask Mike Maignan.
Nonetheless, at Milanello they are hoping to have Kalulu back at least for the return match of the Champions League at the Maradona on April 18, but as mentioned they will monitor his condition closely and they will not push things too much for fear of causing a more damaging relapse.
