Kalulu reacts after successful surgery: “We step back to leap forward” – photo

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan defender Pierre Kalulu has published a message on his social media after undergoing surgery to fix a tendon problem in his thigh that he sustained in the Napoli game.

Kalulu was removed in the first half of the game and it was confirmed pretty quickly that the Frenchman had suffered a pretty bad injury. Milan announced that he will be out for around four months after he underwent surgery to repair the ruptured tendon earlier in the week.

In a post on his Instagram account, Kalulu said the following: “The operation went very well, thanks to the entire medical team, to Doctor Lasse Lempainen, and thank you all for your messages of support. I’m already looking forward to getting back on the field, we step back to leap forward.”
