Keisuke Honda sends message to Milan: “Call me when you need me!”

By Oliver Fisher -

Former AC Milan winger Keisuke Honda has sent a message to the club urging them to give him a call if they need ‘help’.

The Rossoneri are in a full-blown crisis at the moment after suffering yet another defeat on Sunday night against Fiorentina at San Siro.

Head coach Marco Giampaolo has started the season with four defeats in six games, something which hasn’t happened to Milan since 1938.

Vito Angele confirmed to us that Giampaolo’s position is under threat, with three possible temporary solutions being considered.

Meanwhile, TMW are reporting that Andriy Shevchenko ‘could become more of an idea’ for the bench.

However, Milan have received an offer of help from an unlikely source as Keisuke Honda has urged them to give him a call.

“I have always wanted to help you. Call me when you need me!” he tweeted.

The Japan international played for Milan from 2014 to 2017, scoring 11 goals and providing 14 assists in 92 competitive games.
