Messias and Rebic steal the limelight: All the key stats from Milan’s draw against Salernitana

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan were unable to get the better of Salernitana on Saturday night and failed to put the pressure on Inter and Napoli as they drew 2-2.

A winning run of three matches in all competitions came to a halt, but Junior Messias and Ante Rebic did get on the scoresheet. Here are the stats from the game, via the official website

➤ After just 4 minutes and 58 seconds today, Junior Messias scored Milan’s fourth goal inside the first five minutes in the league this season, more than any other side in the division.

➤ It was the Brazilian’s fifth goal in all competitions this season; four of these have come away from home.

➤ Ante Rebić scored his four goal from outside the box in his career (from a total of 26) in Serie A, getting back on the scoresheet after five months without scoring (Juventus 1-1 AC Milan).

➤ The Croat’s last goal from distance was in May 2021 in the 3-0 win away at Juventus.

➤ Theo Hernández has provided 14 assists in total since his arrival in Serie A (2019-20), six of which have come this season; this is a personal best for the Frenchman in a single season.

  1. Please take off that Mesias
He could be good guy. But is not for Milan
    Milan need Ronaldo tipe
    Not like this.
    Keep them way please

  2. I wish Messias didn’t score that goal. We completely stopped playing after the goal. Like we already won the clash.
If Salernitana scored first it would be better for us. Sometimes our boys need a slap to start playing.
