AC Milan defender Simon Kjaer was at Milanello today as his recovery programme recently took a step forward, according to a report.
Milan have been without Kjaer since the away game against Genoa earlier in the season when he damaged his ligaments early in the first half, forcing him to undergo surgery which subsequently ruled him out for the rest of the season.
According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Simon Kjaer has carried out a personalised session at Milanello today as well as in recent days. The Danish centre-back recently returned to Italy after the first part of his recovery process.
He is proceeding with his work to return for the 2022-23 season and everything is going well as per the source. As a leader and a quality centre-back, Stefano Pioli and Kjaer’s team-mates will certainly be looking forward to welcoming him fully back into the squad.
