Another squad member has joined up with the team in Dubai as Simon Kjaer arrived this morning, according to a report.
According to reports from Sky (via MilanNews), Kjaer arrived in the United Arab Emirates today and did a training session. He was having a few extra days of vacation after Denmark’s elimination from the World Cup in the group stages.
However, the 33-year-old did not train with the rest of his team-mates, but instead carried out an individual session. He did not play in either of Denmark’s last two group stage games after complaining of some muscle discomfort.
It will be important to ensure that Kjaer is in the right condition before he trains with the team to avoid any muscle injury relapses, but slowly Stefano Pioli is recovering all the pieces of his team in view of the resumption of the season on January 4 against Salernitana.
