Tuttosport: Krunic in the last phase of recovery – the game he should return for

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli is hoping to have Rade Krunic back as soon as possible as an important part of his midfield is currently missing.

Krunic is recovering from the muscle problem that has kept him out of the last few games and Tuttosport (via MilanNews) report that he is currently in the last phase of his recovery as he is doing individual training on the pitch at Milanello.

Then, he will return to training with the rest of the squad before making his return to the field fully in games, and while he is expected to miss the game against Sampdoria tomorrow night, he should be back for the Champions League home match scheduled for Wednesday against Dinamo Zagreb.

A statement on the official website yesterday confirmed that the Bosnian has extended his contract until 2025 too, so there could be yet more positives on the way for a player that Pioli holds in high esteem.
