AC Milan are looking to refresh their attack in view of next season and they are eyeing a forward who is shining in Serie A, a report claims.
Salernitana took a big step towards preserving their Serie A status for another season with with a 3-0 win against Sassuolo over the weekend and it was no surprise that Boulaye Dia was the star man once again.
He is their top scorer and he is now on 11 goals in Serie A this season, which puts him one step away from Marco Di Vaio’s record for the top scorer in Salernitana’s history in terms of a single season in the top flight.
According to La Città (via Calciomercato.com), Salernitana will buy Dia from Villarreal for €12m but they know that the Senegal international has suitors who could make offers that allow them to cash in.
The 26-year-old is being watched closely by Milan who need a striker to compliment Olivier Giroud with Divock Origi struggling and Zlatan Ibrahimovic potentially retiring. However, Everton and Leeds have been following him for months too.
Boniface is a better option
