La Stampa: Donnarumma’s message to Raiola – “I’m staying at Milan, take care of the formalities”

Gianluigi Donnarumma has given a mandate to agent Mino Raiola regarding his contract situation, according to a report.

As La Stampa writes, there are just three months left until Donnarumma’s contract with Milan expires which has left a large section of supporters feeling restless about the situation and the media are beginning to speculate that he could leave for free.

However, the paper states that the departure of the Rossoneri goalkeeper does not seem a scenario that is being contemplated as Donnarumma himself made it clear before the start of the negotiations what his intensions are.

“I’m staying at Milan, take care of the formalities,” is the message that the 22-year-old gave to his agent, and now the negotiations must continue towards a meeting point that will allow Donnarumma to remain with his boyhood club beyond the end of the season, hopefully leading them into the Champions League.
