Le10Sport: Bayern Munich join Milan and PSG in pursuit of €35m-rated Chelsea outcast

By Oliver Fisher -

Bayern Munich have joined AC Milan in the race to land Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko in the summer transfer window, a report claims.

A number of sources have reported that the Frenchman is intent on rejoining Milan in the upcoming transfer window, with MilanNews claiming that the club’s management dream of creating a Bennacer-Bakayoko pairing in midfield, as part of Rangnick’s new-look 4-4-2 system.

Alessandro Jacobone recently reported on Twitter that Bakayoko is continuing to push for a return to Milan and Chelsea would be willing to sell for around €18-20m as they need to raise money to win the race for Kai Havertz of Bayer Leverkusen.

According to French outlet Le10Sport (via Sportsmole), Bayern Munich are in the race for Bakayoko as Thiago Alcantara and Javi Martinez will leave the club, while Corentin Tolisso has also been linked with a move away.

Chelsea value the Frenchman at €35million, and the report mentions that PSG and Milan are also in the running, while Tottenham’s Tanguy Ndombele is an alternative.
