Le10Sport: Milan in advanced talks over deal for PSG defender as Real Madrid drop out of race

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are in advanced negotiations over the signing of defender Tanguy Kouassi, a report claims, with a suitor having dropped out of the race.

The Rossoneri continue to be linked with a move for Kouassi as they look to reinforce their defence ahead of next season, with the 17-year-old currently on a deal set to expire at the end of this month.

It was recently confirmed by Calciomercato.com that Milan have offered a four or five-year deal to Kouassi and the chance to sign what would be his first professional contract, but that PSG are fighting hard to keep such a prized young asset.

According to the latest from Le10Sport, Milan are in pole position to land Kouassi having made a pitch to the player and his entourage. Negotiations with the entourage of the player are described as ‘advanced’ and a ‘very important’ deal has been tabled.

Real Madrid recently looked into the idea of making a move for Kouassi but according to the French outlet president Florentino Pérez blocked the pursuit.
