Rafael Leao is one of the biggest footballers in Europe, and to AC Milan, he is extremely significant. So, the questions over his future can be looked at with questions.
It is no surprise to anyone that Leao is at the pinnacle of Milan, and he is not just a player. In fact, as Calciomercato writes today, he is the player. The Rossoneri hold him in a higher regard than anyone and that is clear in several ways.

Indeed, he is the number 10, he sells a lot of shirts, and he is regularly at the centre of commercial projects launched or aided by the club. In other words, he is the centre piece, both of the Milanese brand but also of the football club.
Unpacking Branchini’s words
After the loss to Lazio, his behaviour has been focused on heavily, and many have had their say on the situation. Giovanni Branchini spoke about his importance, which the report has looked into further.
Leao’s 2023 renewal reportedly changed the situation, changing him from another player to the main player. Indeed, this is shown in the figures he earns for his work on the pitch, but also the fact that he is a centre piece commercially.
Before the Lazio game, perhaps there were a few who still questioned him. However, the management were aligned, appreciating his availability and position change for the team. Since then, questions may have emerged internally.
However, there is no doubt that he remains the most important asset at the club; for that, there is no debate. So, his future may not be as in danger as it may have seemed recently.

This in a nutshell is the message that Pulisic will be sold.
Why are you keep talking about Pulisic being sold?
Don’t let the door hit u and the Chelsea’s bench warmer hit the both of u on the ass on the way out !!! the american is an avarage overhyped overrated player that only americans talk about !!!! He is not 5% the player Leao is. He can get the F out and take with him all of u baseball bum american fans with him. We’re done having u bums in Milan
No, why do people think that Pulisic wants to stay and be a sub in Allegri’s 3-5-2? Yes, he has a contract but when a player puts in a transfer request they leave. ACM will need the sale money. Moshi, having American owners has nothing to do with him staying. DeMoor, I’m glad you’ll enjoy him leaving. Enjoy your naps.
Whenever he has been fit and healthy he has been a starter. Why would he be a sub? If Allegri sticks to 352 he is a better fit for it than Leao, and if Allegri switch to 433 he is still a starter.
The only reason why he would be sold over Leao is that there are actually teams that are willing to spend money on Pulisic unlike Leao
If they switch to a 4-3-3 he’ll start at a wing. I hear no evidence that Allegri will play that formation. I find it interesting that Allegri’s agent says Leão is ‘The Man’. To me, that means he takes the second striker possion in a 3-5-2.
Should Milan still focus on Leao? The corporate dynamics are complex, Leao is an asset to the club and therefore various factors must be considered.”
This year he is not making a great contribution, it is clear for everyone to see. He remains an important player and must be defended until the end, as Allegri did yesterday after the match, despite the abrupt outcome of the substitution.”
This just mean, leao has been bad but don’t criticize him too much because you will lower his value even more so Milan can’t get high fee for him in a sale.
Demoor is angry again….. Please tell me who in the past 2 and half season ACM has created more scoring opportunities and goals then that bum Pulisic?
Pulisic in 2.5 seasons have half of the g/a than Leao in 6.5 seasons
In addition to working for team when the opponent has the ball. Something that Leao does maybe twice a season – if we’re lucky.
Sorry to burst your bubble but Leao is extremely overrated. A good player on the left but very overrated as his only asset is his speed(which is gone at the moment). Now call me names too!
Pulisic is safe as long as the owner is American.
With articles like this which is the FACT, Leao remains the focal point of this Milan team, the current owner and management, knows the implication of loosing such a vital player, every coach that comes to Milan knows how important he is, both commercially and above all on the field. Those garbage coaches that fought Leao, end up putting us in 8th position, the moment they play him he delivers, that was thier undoing.
The truth is bitter, I have said it countless times and my word were echoed by those that knows the game and knows the truth, against all odd he even sacrifice to be a striker, what more commitment is more than that? Leao is Milan!!!
Leao is LAZY LAZY LAZY LAZY !!! His future with the team has pasted. SELL SELL SELL !!!
“Leao is Milan!!!”
LOL. Even Maldini wasn’t “Milan” and he was a big as they ever come. And let’s not even ridicule our legend by comparing Leao to him.
lest I forget, haters can go to blazes…….
hahaha
You Pulisic haters are a joke! It’s a statistical fact that he has been the most important player on the team in his first two years and was Milan player of the year last year. Without his production at the beginning of the year Champions League would not even be a possibility for Milan next year…he literally carried the team by himself so put some respect on his name. I agree that either Pulisic or Leao needs to go because neither one will accept being a rotational player and quite frankly neither one has the ideal skill set for a 3-5-2 formation on top of the fact they like to occupy the same spaces, their chemistry is simply nonexistent. In spite of the fact that I am a Pulisic fan I also agree that he should be the one to leave. I understand that Leao has elite physical gifts and is a year younger so it makes sense that Milan would build around Leao in spite of his lazy attitude and maddeningly inconsistent performances. Personally I think Pulisic has a higher ceiling as a 2nd striker than Leao because he has world class instincts for making runs and being in the right places at the right times in the 6-yard box. I do NOT think Leao can play any other position other than wing and will fail as a central attacker as he always has over the last 6 years. Leao is a winger who needs space to run at defenders or he is bang average and ineffective. However, the allure of his potential will mislead coaches into thinking he can evolve. He has proven that he is a one dimensional player with world class potential that will always remain potential. Because his physical gifts are rare and can’t be taught he will always flatter to deceive. I will end with this, Milan is a better team with both players on the field but only if they are in positions that match their skill set. The answer is right in front of us and that is a 4-3-3 formation where both players have proven to complement each other. But, because Allegre is a stubborn dinosaur it won’t be possible to keep them both so I fully agree that one has to go in this situation.
Well said.
Well Said !!!
I wonder how many users on these pages are bots. LOL!!! Same narratives, day in, day out.
No, it’s just us holding to the same opinions. LOL.
Same nonsense day in & day out !!
Every good player goes through moments when they aren’t at their best. Pulisic will be back to his best soon enough. As will Leao. It doesn’t help that both are being played out of the position that brings out their best though. Not worried though.
