Rafael Leao rejoined the rest of his team-mates at Milanello yesterday and some very positive news emerged from the session, according to a report.
Leao was of course present at the World Cup where he represented Portugal in Qatar, scoring two goals off the bench but with his nation ultimately crashing out in the quarter-finals against Morocco.
He was then granted a few days of vacation before being called to rejoin the rest of the squad yesterday with training resuming ahead of Serie A getting back underway on January 4 with the trip to face Salernitana.
Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that the winger showed up after his holidays in amazing physical condition, a clear sign that the break did him a lot of good physically and mentally, and it will hopefully recharge him ahead of a crucial second part of the season with four competitions to play in.
