Tuttosport: Leao, Ziyech, Broja – business between Milan and Chelsea may not be over

By Oliver Fisher -

The excitement is building ahead of AC Milan’s game against Chelsea tomorrow night, with a potential intertwining on the transfer market that could follow.

As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports this morning, there have been plenty of operations carried out between Milan and Chelsea in the past and there will probably be more in the future, with three players in particular mentioned: Rafael Leao, Hakim Ziyech and Armando Broja.

Regarding Leao, Chelsea have long had their eyes on the Portuguese winger but have never presented an official offer. The Blues came forward during the summer – as was also been confirmed by Paolo Maldini – and it is not excluded that they might come back in January or next summer, especially with no renewal.

Ziyech’s name has been associated with Milan for some time now, and the paper claims that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara still like the winger a lot and January could present a new opportunity if he continues to get little playing time.

In recent weeks, there is also another Chelsea player who seems to have entered the Rossoneri’s sights in Broja, a 21-year-old Albanian centre-forward who is one of the names considered as a potential No.9 of the future.
