Lecce ignore calls for fair pricing and charge Milan fans €60 per ticket

By Oliver Fisher -

The price set by Lecce for the away sector in view of the match against AC Milan at the Stadio Via del Mare is causing a lot of discussion, and it is easy to see why.

The Curva Sud used a recent home game to unveil a display which appealed to clubs and to the authorities to try and place a cap on the price that can be charged for tickets in the away section, having fallen victim of exploitative pricing numerous times.

As MilanNews report, Lecce certainly have not listened to those pleas. The Apulian club have put tickets on sale in the away section for the game before the international break at €60. It is a price that is certainly exaggerated, even compared to the prices of all the matches so far this season.

For their games against Torino, Sassuolo, Genoa, Salernitana and Lazio they charged away fans €19, while for Parma (in the Coppa Italia) it was €13, and even Napoli got tickets for €25.

    1. I’m sure the 3 paid lecce employees/fans will be upset by this.

Seriously though, how many Lecce fans travel around the country to watch them lose every week.

      Maybe it’s a lot, I don’t know.

This should be something that FIGC takes a look into, but well, we all know the truth about FIGC.

  1. The price of if a ticket is always your willingness to pay. If it’s too high then don’t pay for it, if you can pay for it you will. Imo prices for tickets in Europe are pretty cheap for the quality of Sport

      1. Bro I wish ticket prices for Milan was $60 where I’m from. Every game is go lol
When I see away prices for Napoli $25 I’m so shocked
