According to various sources, Milan are very interested in Tiémoué Bakayoko from Chelsea and are looking to sign the player on loan with option to buy. Technical director Leonardo spoke to Mediaset about a possible move for the Frenchman.
“Bakayoko? We are not yet at the finish line. We talk, we see and study. This is how the market works. There is still nothing decided,” Leonardo said.
Earlier today, Sky Italia reported that an agreement was reached with Chelsea on the basis of a loan with option to buy at the end of the season.
It is believed that the only obstacle to overcome is the high salary of the former Monaco midfielder. The player earns €6.5 million per year in England and Chelsea would have to contribute to his salary for the deal to be feasible for the Rossoneri.
