Lyon are looking to close a deal for two attacking players before the window closes, a report claims, one of whom is Lucas Paqueta.
The Rossoneri have to deal with the future of Lucas Paqueta, and the Brazilian needs to revive his career, having stagnated at Milan over the last few months after arriving for a fee of €35m in January 2019.
However, this is easier said than done, especially since he doesn’t have a spot in Stefano Pioli’s usual starting eleven. Furthermore, it isn’t easy for Milan to try to offload him given they need €22-23m to break even.
Despite this, reports over the past couple of weeks have suggested that Lyon are keen on signing him. According to reports from L’Equipe (via MilanNews), Lyon are about to sign winger Facundo Pellistri from Peñarol.
After closing for the Uruguayan, the French club will move for Paqueta and sporting director Juninho will try to secure the 23-year-old as another attacking reinforcement.
