AC Milan’s chief scout Geoffrey Moncada has ended up in the sights of former club Monaco as they prepare to lose a key figure, a report claims.
According to what is being reported by L’Equipe (via MilanNews), Monaco are considering the return of Moncada as the club’s chief scout. The Frenchman current holds the same role at Milan but his contract expires in a few months and he is currently yet to extend his deal.
The Ligue 1 club are expected to lose their current chief scout Laurence Stewart who will leave them for Chelsea and they have set his sights on Moncada given their previous links with him.
Moncada is a figure that has been talked about often in recent years as being a key architect of the Rossoneri’s resurgence with the youth project, and he is lauded for his work in France including the discovery of Kylian Mbappé while he was at Monaco.
Given how crappy the recruitment has been recently, this guy is probably no great loss.
The players he recomended where not signed. Eg Enzo fernandez foe just 10m, instead we spent 35m for CDK
You probably have no idea about anything in this article. USA? 😀
Imagine if Moncada goes to Monaco and Massara takes the Juventus job. Will be left with Paolo. That’s a scary thought 😳
