Libero: Milan management at work to sign a centre-back and a new striker – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan management are at work to try and secure two reinforcements for Stefano Pioli’s squad, according to a report.

The Rossoneri have already secured the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and welcomed Ante Rebic on a permanent deal, while Brahim Diaz, Sandro Tonali and Ciprian Tatarusanu have also joined.

According to reports from today’s edition of Libero (via MilanNews), directors Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are still working hard to strengthen Stefano Pioli’s squad.

In addition to the very difficult negotiation for Fiorentina centre-back Nikola Milenkovic – a player La Viola don’t want to sell – the Rossoneri are also working to sign a deputy to Zlatan Ibrahimovic considering the temporary absences of Ante Rebic and Rafael Leao plus the fact Lorenzo Colombo is so young.

The paper goes on to confirm claims from over the weekend too by stating that Fiorentina could open up to the sale of winger Federico Chiesa, a report Milan target.
