Christian Pulisic has been the star of the show for AC Milan this season and arguably since he arrived, which has alerted some Premier League clubs.

With seven goals and five assists in 15 appearances this season, the new Milan head coach Paulo Fonseca has been able to rely on Pulisic to be decisive in the biggest games. The issue is that with these performance levels, other clubs have taken note.

Calciomercato.com report that Pulisic is instead very much liked by Liverpool, with the future of the USA international inevitably intertwined with the possible early farewell of Federico Chiesa returning to Serie A, with Milan and Inter linked.

Manchester United and West Ham are looking for a top-level signing to bolster their attack so Pulisic appeals to them too, but for Milan Pulisic is irreplaceable and unsellable unless a colossal bid comes in.

The Rossoneri bought Pulisic from Chelsea for €20.8m and the fact that he still has a long-term contract in place (until 2027) players in Milan’s favour in terms of leverage. His growth has him valued at around €60m, the amount Chelsea paid when they bought him from Borussia Dortmund.

The €4m net salary that Pulisic earns is something that other clubs could easily substantially increase, especially in the Premier League, so the management might have to address that aspect too.

  1. Puli would have to be pretty dense to return to the PL. The intensity and pace of that league isn’t for Chris. He’d spend more time injured again.

    1. Dumbest media talking point.
      Your obv a Brit.
CP Gets trashed by media after he won MVP in the worldcup against England.
Numerous times lampard and tuchel would say
Hes injured. And then cp11 would tweeet “im fine”
He was the best player in the PL During covid. He destroyed Man City and Liverpool on numerous occ.
MANu thought they wanted mason Mount. But rly needed pulusic. Arsenal thought they wanted havertz but rly needed CP11

Pulisic>milan anyways Milan arent ever gonna win anything, hes waisting his time in italy.

        1. Difficult to call Liverpool or Man United smaller teams. That said, he is a great fit with Milan and Serie A, and I hope he stays. Barely Top 5 for Milan Dave? Who has been consistently better, game-to-game since he joined the team?

  2. Dude is basically the poster boy for the muricans. The whole usa market is on him.

No way they sell unless a high offer comes. 100M+.

Doubt he’d want to leave anyway. He seems like he’s really enjoying Italian life. Then again what is not to enjoy when you’re a millionaire in Italy.?

  3. He’s an American playing for an American owned organization that is going to market the crap out of him and sell him for 2026 WC and for AC Milan.

He is one of the few attractions for American players overseas and many fans that aren’t aligned with any specific European team will latch on to AC Milan because of him. He’s not going anywhere.

  4. Pulisic has had a good experience in Italy. The club and both managers have been straight forward with him and he mentions the trust he feels in interviews so I don’t see him leaving.

  5. Well it all depends on ambitions and project of the owners. Right now, there’s no proper project in place and they’re just milking Pulisic for their USA market.

  6. Pulisic has not had this happiness in his professional career since his Dortmund days and the great yellow wall. He responds very strongly to feeling trusted, accepted, and loved by the coach, management, and fans. (And the opposite response if he doesn’t feel that.) He is receiving all of that support and acceptance at Milan, and is blossoming accordingly.

Puli was taught very well by life experience in London that he might not receive what he needs from the organization and fans in any English city. Unless something drastically changes at Milan for the worse, which is unlikely, there’s no way he willingly chooses to leave for a rich PL offer.

  7. Pulisic has the quality to compete and thrive in the English Premiership if he joins a team like Liverpool, however, the Prem as a whole don’t know how to use and treat technical players. I prefer Pulisic stay with AC Milan and switch to La Liga if he ever decides to leave.

  8. One way or another this will get resolved next summer (or not), since 2025 is two years from end of contract. So he should either get extended or sold for max value. Of course neither will happen, and in about one year we’ll be sitting here losing our minds about how he’s going to leave for decrease value or free.
