MN: Liverpool forward gets ready for Paris swan song before signing for Milan

AC Milan are closing in on making their first signing of the summer as Divock Origi is expected to join on a free transfer, a report claims.

MilanNews report that Origi is getting ‘closer and closer’ to joining the Rossoneri, who have done everything they had to do to secure the Belgian centre-forward and convince him to try a new adventure in Italy.

He will leave Liverpool when his deal expires at the end of next month and will therefore join Milan on a free transfer. His contract will not be extended for another year as he will not reach the number of appearances necessary to activate the clause.

The most likely situation at the moment is that Origi will have his first taste of Milano at the end of the month, because he first of all has to bid farewell to the Reds after the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid on May 28 in Paris.
