Ruben Loftus-Cheek is not a regular starter for AC Milan, but he is still able to have a significant impact on proceedings when he plays.

At present, Loftus-Cheek is in the motion of a return from a new injury. However, this one has not followed the trends that absences in his career often have. Rather than a muscle injury, he suffered a broken jaw.

It has kept him sidelined, but it has not required him to go through a rehabilitation process. So, he has still been able to do athletic work in recent weeks.

If nothing else, it has offered him a break and a chance to return back motivated to attack the final games of the season.

There is a reason why this season’s finale could also be important for him, too. Indeed, the Englishman hopes to discuss his future and a possible renewal with the Rossoneri this summer, as he told Sportmediaset, via MilanNews.

“I have a contract until the end of 2027, I think we’ll discuss it with the club in the summer. I love AC Milan and Milan, but now I’m focused on the end of the season.”

He also commented on the recent struggles of his former Chelsea teammate, Christian Pulisic.

“It’s normal to go through difficult moments every now and then, I’m sure he’ll score again. And in any case, he works hard for the team, he comes back to defend, even without goals he gives us a lot.”

  1. lowered salary and being used as a 5th choice for the attack would be the only option here

would free us from Nkunku. 30-35M extra to spend on Allegri’s main 5 targets

  2. sell him while still can, average but high salary, never fit 100%, giant but glass,
why this mngmt holding into chelsea’s reject just like their life depend on it
