AC Milan scored the third goal of the game against Liverpool, to re-give them the lead. Again, another nice goal with a Massimiliano Allegri feel.
After sustaining a bit of pressure, Milan looked to go forward themselves in the second half. As you would expect, Leao was once again involved. Like with his first, he drove down the line before finding Ruben Loftus-Cheek on the edge of the box.

It looked, at first, like he may have stumbled over the ball. However, he adjusted well and slotted it past the Liverpool ‘keeper. 2-1, and another nice goal with an Allegri feel.

I understand this is pre season match. But most of you here condemn Allegri to be defensive coach.
But here is 3-1 against Liverpool. Want to see this spirit and team work when whw starts
it was all defensive from minute 1, the goals all came from counter attacks and Ricci was having to position himself to save this team. I watched the game and it looked like a Milan were getting pinned the ground for 90 min.

LOL!!! You don’t need to watch the game to know that the EPL champions would be dominating from the start to finish. Be real, we don’t have the players to challenge teams such as Liverpool for ball possession and match domination. Playing defense and keeping clean sheets is the only way we’ll get back to the top with a squad (and budget) like this.
I don’t condemn Allegri at all…. I think he is what we need in order to get out of the mess the management has created. Even if he is defensive, I don’t mind as long as we get 3 points
It isnt a mess, I have seen a mess. This isnt a mess, count the club lucky that it isnt the 2015 Milan team. It is such recency bias to use that word ‘mess’. The team got these three goals from the same players who were here last year and that should tell you enough.
The point is Allegri should pray we end up in the top 4 at the very least because this team is good enough to compete for the league and as such not getting top 4 while playing defensive is unacceptable.
In two pre-season matches and a couple weeks Allegri seems to have fixed the leaky defense. I say that’s quite impressive. And it will only get better.
Of course. We won the Champions League last year, considering how we did in preseason? We’ll see after 5 serie A matches. This is as irrelevant as it gets.

It was a good preseason performance. Same like last season but it feels the players are getting used to the coach’s expectation. Only time will tell how far they go in the proper season but with a few additions like Modric etc, it certainly looks bright again. Allegri (not a fan) knows what he is doing
