Ruben Loftus-Cheek has started the season well for AC Milan and scored his first goal with a screamer against Cagliari. The Englishman believes he can score a lot more than just one, as stated in a recent interview.
The former Chelsea man is currently recovering from an injury and should be back in action against PSG on Wednesday evening. In the meantime, however, he has shared his thoughts on the first few months at Milan.
Speaking to SportWeek (read in full here), Loftus-Cheek was asked about how many goals he will score this season. The journalists suggested ten, referring to his best season with Chelsea, but the midfielder believes he can score more.
“I can score even more than ten. I scored ten with Sarri at Chelsea, but that time I only became a starter at the end of the season. I can go further,” he stated.
As said, the 27-year-old is expected back against PSG but might not play from the first minute. In any case, he will be an important player next week as Milan also will face Napoli away from home.
